Hey Alexa ...?

How many times a day do you ask Alexa or Google a question?

Do you trust the answer? Most likely.

How many times a day do you ask yourself a question?

Do you trust the answers you hear? Or do you giggle and think you are going crazy?

The more we call on and listen to our intuition, the more we can trust the answers or signs that we see throughout the day.

One of my favourite exercises that I use regularly to get answers is ‘What Do I Know, Feel and Need to Communicate.’ I believe I did this once at a yoga retreat and I have used this strategy so many times since. It can be very powerful.

The next time you you are facing a hard situation, set aside some time and sit down with a journal. Ask yourself each question a few times and sit and wait for the answer. I have also continued to ask myself the question if an answer doesn’t come immediately.

Step One:

Tapping your forehead or Third Eye Chakra, ask yourself, “What do I know about this situation? What do I know about this situation? What do I know about this situation?”

Once you have the answer, take a moment to write it down.

Step Two:

With your hand on your heart or Heart Chakra, ask yourself, “What do I feel about this situation? What do I feel about this situation? What do I feel about this situation?”

Again, once you get answer, write it down.

Step Three:

With your fingertips on your lips, throat or Throat Chakra, ask yourself, “What do I need to communicate about this situation? What do I need to communicate about this situation? What do I need to communicate about this situation?” Oftentimes, this answer is more for myself, but sometimes I get a very clear message about who and what I need to say to people to smooth out a situation and feel like my needs are being met.

If you get a chance to try it — I’d love to hear how it goes!
